How It Works

1

Tell us what your boat needs

Open the app, pick your boat, describe the issue or service. Most owners do this in under two minutes.

2

We match you with a certified technician

You see the technician's name, photo, and upfront price before you accept. No mystery invoices.

3

Service happens where your boat is

At your slip, on the lift, in the driveway, or at the ramp. Most jobs finish in a single visit.

Shops can't keep up. Your season shouldn't pay for that.

San Diego boats run year-round, which means the engine never gets a real off-season to catch up on maintenance — and the shop calendar shows it. Executive Mechanic puts a certified technician on your dock at Shelter Island, Harbor Island, or Mission Bay so service happens between trips, not instead of them.

No 4-6 week shop wait

You book it. A technician shows up. The work gets done. Then you're back on the water.

No towing

San Diego Bay to Oceanside, your boat doesn't move. We come to it.

Upfront pricing

You see the cost before you accept the job. Not after.

San Diego Marine Service FAQs

Where in San Diego do you work?

San Diego Bay (Shelter Island, Harbor Island, Point Loma, Coronado, Chula Vista), Mission Bay, and up the coast to Oceanside and Carlsbad. Tell us your marina and we'll confirm availability.

What engines do you service?

Yamaha, Mercury, Suzuki, and Honda outboards, Mercruiser Bravo and Alpha sterndrives, Volvo Penta, and inboard and diesel configurations — the saltwater fleet San Diego actually runs.

Do you handle saltwater corrosion and anode replacement?

Yes. Year-round saltwater use is hard on cooling systems, anodes, and electrical. Anode (zinc) replacement, corrosion service, and flush/cooling work are part of our standard San Diego service list.

Can you service my boat in its slip at Shelter Island or Harbor Island?

Yes. Almost all of our work happens at the customer's slip or lift. Note any marina gate access or dock-cart rules when you book so the technician arrives ready.

There's no real winter here — do I still need scheduled service?

Yes. Boats that run all year hit their hour-based service intervals faster, and saltwater never stops working on the engine. We do year-round preventive maintenance on a schedule that fits how often you actually run.

Is the work warrantied?

Yes. Every job booked through Executive Mechanic carries a warranty on the work performed. If something we serviced fails, contact us in the app and we make it right.
